Even though Robo is dubbed movie, we can’t neglect it as a dubbed movie ,because, Robo broke many records at box-office . This Rajnikanth, Shankar movie set a new record for a dubbed movie in Andhra Pradesh by collecting more than Rs 50 Crores.

2010 is memorable year to Balakrishna. Simha made highest collections among Telugu films released in this year. Balakrishna who gave almost 11 flops in a row before Simha bounced back with this massive hit. All this credit goes to director “Boyapati Seenu”. The director became hero among Nandamuri fans immediately after the success of Simha. Even though Seenu had some blockbusters films like Badhra , Thulasi etc in his account, he got craze only through Simha, because he is only person who stopped failure story of Balakrishna after 10 years.

Rajamouli’s low budget movie Maryada Ramanna is the second best movie in this year. Sunil and Rajamouli combo made huge collections at box-office . After all time blockbuster movie Magadheera, Rajamouli picked a simple concept and made Sunil full fledged hero. He added all commercial elements in this movie. This is Rajamouli’s 8th hit movie in a row.

Finally Dil Raju has tasted Success after 2 Years. Dil Raju who was acronym for ‘producer of blockbuster movies’ had failed with Josh and Maro Charitra. But NTR’s huge budget film ‘Brindavanam’ gave him some profits at box-office. Brindavanam took a flying start in the first week but could not sustain the collections. Yet the movie brought profits to the producer and the distributors. It collected nearly Rs 45 Crores.

With all the negative publicity and the controversies, Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra I made good business at Box-Office. Even though Ram Gopal Varma added many commercial elements to the original story, audience were attracted to the way RGV presented the movie. RGV had completed the shooting of both 1 and 2 parts with in 6 months. However,second part of the Rakta Charitra was a disaster.

NTR’s Sankranthi release, Adhurs, did roaring business in coastal Andhra. But the movie had problems in the Nizam area due to Telangana movement. Overall it is a hit and made good collections at Box-Office.

Karunakaran who is popular for his love stories has picked Prabhas for Darling. Prabhas was appeared as full fledged lover boy in this movie. Prabhas appeared in new look which was attracted by youth very much.

Cast: Naga Chaithanya, Samantha, Krishnudu, Devan, Surekha Vani, Lakshmi

Gautham Vasudev Menon who always directs action films came up with different love story. This movie made Samantha a star heroine in Tollywood. She also became dream girl for youth. However, Naga Chaithanya proved as good actor with this movie. A R Rahman’s music is highlight for this movie. However, due to lack of mass elements the movie failed to attract Mass audience.

This movie got divide talk during initial days. Even, Dil Raju declared that the movie is flop. But surprisingly collections of this movie increased because of family audience. Finally, the film completed 50 days in 52 centers.

Vedam created huge hype before release, telling that its a multi starrer movie. Of course , Vedam is a multi starrer with no commercial elements in that. The movie is all about real life incidents of the people. Vedam got good reviews, but due to lack of commercial elements movie failed at box-office.

Even though Sekhar Kammula’s “Leader” did not break records at box-office, got good responses, reviews and compliments from all. Every one liked the movie. The movie did well at A centers, but failed at B and C centers due to lack of commercial elements. The movie is for class audience, because, the only item song in the movie with Udaya Bhanu is pictured in class way rather than Mass way.

Allari Naresh’s low budget movie made good business at box-office. This movie surprised every one by its collections. As per the trade sources, the movie had grabbed more than 300% of its investment.
